Started in 1979, Fire-Stop Systems (FSS) has been developing, testing, manufacturing and installing it’s own F.M., U.L.C. and U.L. approved fire stop materials with an undying commitment to quality and customer service. When the corporate structure was developed, it was determined that FSS should walk a path quite different from other manufacturers of fire stopping products. Instead of selling through master distributorships, which in turn often sell through sub-distributors (such as electrical wholesale) before the product makes it’s way to the contractor responsible for installation, FSS decided to form a company that would bypass all of the middlemen, thus serving the end user with a single and direct source of product sales and installation.
